Jennifer Lee is the senior partner of Creative Medical Resources Associates, a partnership established in New York State in 1990, comprising seasoned health industry professionals with many years combined experience in the public and private sectors. Services covered include medical chart review, utilization/claims data analysis and reporting, program evaluation and development, regulatory compliance, managed care quality assurance, provider credentialing, site assessments and treatment protocol development.
Ms. Lee is a graduate of the baccalaureate nursing program of Cornell University and received a master's degree in public health from the University of North Carolina. Her professional work experience began as a maternal and child nurse practitioner at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Health Center (then sponsored by Montefiore Medical Center in New York), followed by a period as a nurse consultant for the Evaluation Unit of the Department of Epidemiology and Social Medicine of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, where she served under the late Mildred A. Morehead, MD, a pioneer in auditing quality of care and operations in health programs nationwide for federal, state, local and private funding agencies. Subsequently, Ms. Lee joined the Professional Standards Review Organization system, which the federal government created to monitor care and costs incurred by beneficiaries in the Medicare and Medicaid programs. Prior to founding CMRA, Ms. Lee worked at Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield to plan and start a hospital utilization management program, with fiscal impact for its indemnity products, under New York’s case-based DRG payment system.
